“Thought I would send you a quick note…”
Dear George,
I just thought I would send you a quick note after Day One of the testing in Sepang.
I have looked at the time sheets Gigi sent me and then I went to the church and lit a candle to the Madonna even though I do not believe in God.
Gigi tells me you have given everyone in the Ducati pit garage one of your motivational posters. Never do that again, OK?
I have spoken to Casey and he doesn’t know what the problem is. He says the bike works for him.
I have also spoken to Dovi and he was much happier than he was last year when he first heard we had given you all this money to win a world title for us.
I have not yet spoken to Jonas Folger, but I do have his phone number.
This morning I got an email from Matthias Müller. He runs Volkswagen. He is my boss. He is very German. He has no sense of humour.
His email said: “Meeting to discuss MotoGP progress Friday 7am”.
I’ll let you know what happens. Count on it.
Best regards,
Claudio
