FRESH OGGYS FOR THE 1290 KTM SUPERDUKE
Rejoice, Superduke owners!
Your Oggy Knobbs are ready. No longer will you have to show restraint when trying to go around some Gixxer-riding ape on the inside. Because you will know that if it all goes to bastard shit, you will not be paying a billion dollars to repair your Superduke…um, unless you cartwheel it, in which case the baby Jesus himself can’t help you.
The following we know to be true, because we have tested them: The kits for the KTM 1290 Superduke are fully bracketed, and intricately designed to fit without any modifications while also being stronger and more protective than non-bracketed cut or no-cut styles.
They fit perfectly and require no modifications. The brackets are made from high-tensile steel alloy for vastly superior strength and minimal weight. The aluminum compression components are made from aircraft-grade 7075 T6511 alloy, and the bolts are de-embrittled, high-tensile items, that have been zinc plated and lavished in clear chromates. Hell, even the “plastic” used in the sliders is Acetal for the best combination of shock absorption, abrasion resistance and strength.
All the metallic components are fully finished for corrosion resistance and durability and they look hell sexy – and show that you will go under any bastard who is in front of you. If you do have to use them and need to replace parts, spares are readily available.
The Knobbs are available in either black or white and with a choice of alloy or steel brackets.
And there are two versions for the 1290SD; one with steel brackets for $339, or the aluminum bracket version for $429.00
They are available at all good and proper motorcycle shops. And if they’re not, feel free to make a scene and get them to contact Kenma.
