Sooo\u2026how we doing up in Newmanland?<\/p>\n

I note that Reichsf\u00fchrer Newman and that capering jackanapes of an Attorney-General have not moved a single step back from their \u201cAll bikies, their mates, their families, their lawyers, their accountants and their employers, are criminal scum\u201d position.<\/p>\n

Nor would I expect them to.<\/p>\n

I mean, why would they?<\/p>\n

Oh, the Redcliff by-election, when Newman\u2019s Liberal National Party (LNP) was beaten at the polls like a bullock in the cabbages?<\/p>\n

Nah. That electoral loss only caused the F\u00fchrer to ponder whether he should make the handing out of How-to-Vote leaflets at polling booths illegal.<\/p>\n

Maybe you think it\u2019s the fact that the F\u00fchrer is spending millions of taxpayer dollars on a mindless spin-campaign to convince pissed-off Queenslanders of the righteous glory of the VLAD Act\u2026erm, despite the fact that he is on record stating that the VLAD Act is what Queenslanders wanted all along and only the F\u00fchrer was brave enough to give it to them?<\/p>\n

Nope. That\u2019s not gonna stop him.<\/p>\n

After all, it\u2019s not like he\u2019s spending his own money there is it?<\/p>\n

Nor is he going to spend his own money defending himself against a defamation case being launched by the lawyers he accused of being part of the criminal motorcycle gang machine. And I doubt he\u2019ll be spending his own money when he has to defend himself against the defamation case Clive Palmer has threatened to smack him with either.<\/p>\n

So that\u2019s all good there, right?<\/p>\n

Yep. Still there last time anyone looked.<\/p><\/div>\n

As long as the good people of Queensland know their F\u00fchrer is fighting the bikie scourge and responding to the million-dollar bikie propaganda machine, then all is well in the Reich. It is the Good Fight, after all, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n

Just don\u2019t tell the F\u00fchrer that this feared \u201cmillion-dollar bikie propaganda machine\u201d is nothing but a bunch of angry people using social media like a rolled-up newspaper on a dog that keeps pissing on the carpet. One hopes that eventually, the dog gets the message.<\/p>\n

So let\u2019s examine what the F\u00fchrer\u2019s VLAD legislation has achieved shall we?<\/p>\n

In real terms.<\/p>\n

In terms of kids not being sold drugs and organised crime ruling the nunneries and orphanages of the Reich.<\/p>\n

OK. Here goes. It won\u2019t take long. I promise.<\/p>\n

NOTHING.<\/p>\n

Not a damn fucken thing.<\/p>\n

Do the clubs still exist?<\/p>\n

They sure do.<\/p>\n

Does crime still exist?<\/p>\n

It sure does, and in fact, is even on the increase according to the cops.<\/p>\n

There have been a few big drug-and-gun busts, but none of the accused were bikies or had links to bikies, no matter how much the F\u00fchrer wished otherwise.<\/p>\n

Two cops from Mackay were charged with five rapes, but they somehow escaped the VLAD Act and were granted bail, despite the seriousness of the charges.<\/p>\n

For some reason, the Queensland Police was not suddenly viewed as a \u201ccriminal gang\u201d and subjected to the love of the VLAD Act, and the odious police commissioner, Ian Stewart was quick to dampen speculation that he was in charge of a seriously flawed organisation.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt certainly one of those things that we are very mindful of,\u201d he said, \u201cas to whether this is an aberration due to the actions of one or two or whether there is a more serious problem in the organisation. I would hope that all of our inquires demonstrate the former.\u201d<\/p>\n

Well, as long as he is mindful and hopeful. That\u2019s what I want in a police commissioner, don\u2019t you?<\/p>\n

And I\u2019m sure we\u2019re all good with police being held to different standards than the rest of society is.<\/p>\n

The F\u00fchrer himself has been mentioned in dispatches in a recent ICAC hearing; a hearing that brought down the NSW premier, Barry O\u2019Farrel. It had something to do with the Eddie Obeid-linked Australian Water Holdings being asked to fork over $5000 to meet with the F\u00fchrer, who was then the Lord-mayor of Berli\u2026erm, Brisbane.<\/p>\n

But there is, apparently, nothing to see there. So let\u2019s move along, shall we?<\/p>\n

So, in terms of what the F\u00fchrer wanted when he responded to his keeper\u2019s demands with the VLAD Act, and what actually, in fact, happened? Well, it\u2019s pretty much a fizzing bust.<\/p>\n

Sic him, big guy. Sic him.<\/p><\/div>\n

Still, something was SEEN to be done.<\/p>\n

And that is very important when it comes to politics.<\/p>\n

Certainly in this case it was SEEN to be done about an entirely fictitious problem, destroyed the Queensland justice system, made the F\u00fchrer and his cronies the laughing stock of the world, and opened up the eyes of a normally apathetic electorate.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s probably the only good to come of this whole farce.<\/p>\n

What the High Court does about it is still a long way away. And there is no guarantee that it will rule one way or the other on this matter.<\/p>\n

There are rumours there will be elections in the Reich as early as June and the F\u00fchrer\u2019s massive majority will be somewhat diluted.<\/p>\n

What can you do in the interim?<\/p>\n

You can keep writing and emailing everyone and anyone at every tier of the government, both state and federal. You can hold the media reports to account by decrying the bullshit they feed you. You can talk to everyone you know about this and you must keep at it until you\u2019re blue in the face and then some. Stay staunch. Stand on your feet, not on your knees. Inform yourself. Knowledge is power in this case and in every case.<\/p>\n

And put aside any na\u00efve notions about revolution and armed insurrection. That will never happen. And quite frankly, you don\u2019t want it to. I have seen, first-hand, the results of a civil war, and it\u2019s not anything any reasonable human being wants or needs.<\/p>\n

The F\u00fchrer\u2019s time will pass. And history will remember him and what he did.<\/p>\n

And maybe karma might pay him a visit as well.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s good like that.<\/p>\n
