You will recall our video of that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zs4yMU9dPnw\" target=\"_blank\">HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zs4yMU9dPnw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A road-race kit has been developed for it and the technical regulations are being sorted out in conjunction with Motorcycling Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Yamaha plans to offer the bikes and the kits at price that would be well under the cost of you building a racing R3 by yourself.<\/p>\n<p>The racing itself will be a minimum five-round series as part of the ASBK winter race-fest, with practice, qualifying and three races over each weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The prize for the fastest racer at the end of the comp? A brand new Yamaha R6.<\/p>\n<p>There will also be prizes along the way, and Yamaha will manage promotion and will offer incentives for teams to wear its colours.<\/p>\n<p>Yamaha is seeking expressions of interest, and you should contact Yamaha Racing Devlopment via this <a href=\"mailto:yrd@bigpond.com\">email<\/a>.
