Freedom Of Information request for \u201call inter-staff communications to or from Jarrod Bleijie during the execution of the department\u2019s duties\u201d has raised concerns about the competency of the Attorney General and his office staff.<\/p>\n<p>After the Courier Mail revealed texts and emails from a staffer riddled with \u2018text-speak\u2019 and discussing inappropriate influences over the Crime And Misconduct Commission with the Director Of Public Prosecutions, an FOI request was approved under reference article \u201cIf it\u2019s good enough to write down it\u2019s good enough to share with the rest of the class.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One note from Jarrod Bleijie, a self-espoused \u2018legal expert\u2019, to his assistant when it was suggested a way to declaw the Crime And Misconduct Commission could be by declaring it \u201cFunctus Officio\u201d read:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh mi[sic] god I love Harry Potter too lol!\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_10026\" style=\"width: 630px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10026\" class=\" wp-image-10026\" alt=\"469468-jarrod-bleijie\" src=\"http:\/\/bikeme.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/469468-jarrod-bleijie.jpg\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bikeme.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/469468-jarrod-bleijie.jpg 620w, https:\/\/bikeme.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/469468-jarrod-bleijie-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bikeme.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/469468-jarrod-bleijie-600x337.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-10026\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">&#8220;Over there is probably where I need to fuck off too.&#8221;<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Functus Officio in fact means an office that has lost its mandate due to expiration or achievement, and is not a magic spell found in a popular children\u2019s book.<\/p>\n<p>Another note from staffer, Terry Glib, to Mr Bleijie is found to read \u201cROFL buy a different vowel, boss!\u201d when changes to legislation affecting the \u2018Onus\u2019 of Proof were being reviewed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not into butt stuff, and I don\u2019t see what it has to do with stamping out orginz\u2026 orginazed\u2026 Bikie Scum.\u201d Was the Attorney General\u2019s reply.<\/p>\n<p>It is no surprise Walter Sofronoff has labeled Queensland\u2019s legal boy-wonder \u201cuntrustworthy\u201d, when it seems even basic court terms are beyond his grasp.<\/p>\n<p>In another note obtained, we find Bleijie informing an intern legislation drafter \u201cI think that\u2019s correct.\u201d when he was asked if \u201can INQUEST is one of those Spanish Monty Python things?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Law clerk Desmond Shorthand, who asked not to be named, made himself available for comment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh, that was hilarious. In every damn session of court you would hear solicitors, prosecutors, barristers, everyone talking about \u2018Nobody expects the Spanish Inquest!\u2019 and laughing their heads off. It was a crack-up. Even some of the people being remanded in gaol for made up crimes and failing to have answers for secret evidence got a giggle out of it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately the embarrassment does not end there. A law officer in the Attorney General\u2019s department, Phil Intops, emailed Mr Bleijie for direction on a tort case only to be informed he \u201cShuld[sic] just ask the bakery what flavour they recommend, and if it\u2019s for the lunch room, expense that shit, bro!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Premier Campbell Newman was asked to comment on the capability and maturity of the Attorney General\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" class=\"wp-image-10027 aligncenter\" alt=\"spanish_inquisition\" src=\"http:\/\/bikeme.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/spanish_inquisition.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bikeme.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/spanish_inquisition.jpg 500w, https:\/\/bikeme.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/spanish_inquisition-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/bikeme.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/spanish_inquisition-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bikeme.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/spanish_inquisition-350x350.jpg 350w, https:\/\/bikeme.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/spanish_inquisition-50x50.jpg 50w, https:\/\/bikeme.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/spanish_inquisition-186x186.jpg 186w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI texted the Attorney General\u2019s office about these baseless allegations and can confidently report on their behalf that everything is \u2018heaps rad\u2019 and all current legal processes are \u2018going ace\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite the Premier\u2019s assurances, however, legal experts are abandoning the system in droves. Queensland Bar Association head, Peter Davis, has even resigned over the Attorney General\u2019s handling of the state\u2019s justice system.<\/p>\n<p>His assistant made a statement on his behalf.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHonestly, it\u2019s ridiculous.
