DESTINATION ELY

By Dingo

The alarm went off at half 3 and after a smoke and some caffeine I headed off to pick up Paul. It was my turn to take a run truck and since Paul had another four weeks until he got his licence back he was riding shotgun. So with Judas blasting out some tale of Metal Gods we headed out on the I15. We rolled in behind Ferg and Leland on the 15 and headed for the 93 turn off to gas up and meet up with the others.

Since I'd filled up the day before and the eskies were already beered up and iced I smoked another one while everyone filled up their bikes.

Bam was already there with his Road Glide. I've never been much of a fan of Baggers but Bam's Glide changed my mind. I rode this bike for a while on the Death Valley run and loved every moment of it. Comfortable as hell and cruises along at 110 effortlessly.
